Our clients selected a gorgeous raised panel maple door design stained in a cherry finish. A Cambria quartz countertop completed the look. The cherry finish of the cabinets was mimicked in the colour tones of the countertop.
Frosted glass inserts in the two upper corner cabinets broke up the site lines creating interest in the cabinets. The glass mosaic tiles for the backsplash were purchased by our clients from Costco…a great find and a beautiful complimentary look with the countertop. A vinyl plank floor, cabinet crown molding, undercabinet lighting and a beautiful Edison light pendant over the island all contributed to this stunning final result.
Our clients had their first party in their new kitchen not long after it was completed. Compliments abounded from their guests and our clients loved their new functional kitchen. Here’s what they had to say,
Thank you Multi-Trade Building Services for creating our dream kitchen. Your staff were incredible, the ideas and details we collaborated on made the decision making process both educational and enjoyable. The attention to detail and the "never finished until our client is happy" mantra that all of your staff practice is impressive and much appreciated. We're looking forward to continued renovations as we create our dream space. Thank you all !!
THE NEWCASTLE KITCHEN RENO
We were thrilled when our Newcastle clients called us to do an overhaul on their kitchen. There were many aspects in their current kitchen that they didn’t like so this was an opportunity to improve the layout and function of the space.
Although the kitchen had lots of natural light from a patio door and windows close by in the family room, the kitchen needed more light. LED cool white pot lights throughout the kitchen brightened up the whole space. Dimmer switches allowed the clients the ability to tone down the brightness when appropriate.
It was a U shaped kitchen with a peninsula that just broke up the flow of the room. As a couple that entertains a lot, the kitchen is a spot that people congregate so the space needed the capacity to accommodate a lot of cooking as well as entertaining.
The peninsula was eliminated and a large island with an overhang on two sides was installed in its place. A bar fridge and a wine cooler became part of the island with a gorgeous wine rack in the one end.
