And I thought Monday was crazy!!!!

Well, Monday was a breeze compared to today!  We've got 4 job sites on the go and I'm on my way to the 5th one now.  Started out with one of our clients adding the installation of new casing around the closet door in the bedroom we were working on.  Well, that meant stopping to pick up materials and bringing it to our crew on site.  Then...on to meet our painter at the next job to bring him paint and primer and set him up with instructions on what needed to be done.  Then...back to the laundry room job to help Bill install the last of the cupboards and install the door fronts.  Then....back to the electrical deficiency corrections to continue that work.

Now Paul and I are doing a home inspection in North Whitby.  Interestingly, this should be the easy part of the day!  Our home inspections are very thorough.  We will travel anywhere in Southern Ontario for an inspection but we try to focus in Durham Region, specifically Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering and then into Brooklin, Courtice and Bowmanville.   To complete a home inspection, Paul actually climbs right onto the roof and fully inspects all aspects of the shingles, flashing, eavestrough, etc.  He then does a complete inspection of the exterior of the home including the windows, doors, grading, receptacles, hose bibs, brickwork, decks, etc.  We then move inside and start at the top in the attic and work our way down into the basement.

With Paul being a Master Electrician and Licensed Plumber, he does a very thorough investigation of all bathrooms and kitchens.  He uses a moisture meter to let him know if there's been any issues with moisture presently or in the past.  He also opens up the electrical panel to take note of any deficiencies.  Our clients are then given a full written report at the end of the inspection and the knowledge of what's good and what isn't so good about their home.

Although it turned into another crazy day, we LOVE our work and we wouldn't have it any other way!!  We'd be bored otherwise.
